GIDUE Sales Australia & New Zealand, representing the Italian manufacturer of narrow and mid-web printing machines since 2005, has a new name: Universal Print Partners. The company is based in Victoria, Australia.

In three years, the number of label converters printing on a GIDUE press has grown from zero to 10, according to the company. Some have acquired more than one.

GIDUE also has announced the appointment of Global Print Services Ltd., a specialist sales and support company for the label industry, as its new agent for the United Kingdom and Ireland. The company is based in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.

“In the past 10 years the only really new developments in our industry have come from Italy, which is at the forefront of design and technology with the target to make the label printer’s job easier, faster and more profitable, says Keith Robson, managing director of Global Print Services. “We are 100 percent behind the GIDUE brand and will actively promote it in the UK and Ireland.”
